Application Basics for Nébulaura

⚠️ Caution
Many applications offer a significant array of configuration options. Most of them won't be covered in the following pages. Rather, you should refer to the official wikis and manual pages for each application to explore their full capabilities.

When exploring configuration options, avoid modifying variables such as URL Base, Bind IP, and Port, as these changes may disrupt integration with your services and result in broken packages.

Installation and Removal

Nébulaura makes it easy to install and remove applications with simple commands:

To install a package:

box install <package name>

To remove a package:

box remove <package name>

❗ Danger
Removing a package will delete all associated data. This operation cannot be undone, so proceed with caution.

Service Management

All Nébulaura-configured applications can be managed using the following commands:

  • Status: Check the current status of the application.
  • Start: Start the application.
  • Stop: Stop the application.
  • Restart: Restart the application.
  • Enable: Configure the application to start automatically at boot.
  • Disable: Remove the application from auto-start entries.

Example:

box start qbittorrent

💡 Tip
Use enable to ensure an application starts automatically when the server is rebooted. Use disable to prevent it from starting at boot.
