Using the WebUI with qBittorrent and Plex
Welcome to Your Personal Space! 🎉
Your personal space is now configured and ready to use! Once logged into the WebUI, you’ll have access to two primary tools: qBittorrent and Plex. Let’s get started on how to use them effectively. 🚀
📂 Organizing Downloads in qBittorrent
To optimize your downloads and maintain order, it’s highly recommended to create categories in qBittorrent. This helps you manage and locate your files easily later. For instance, you can create categories like:
- Movies
- Series
This will ensure that your downloads are automatically organized into the appropriate folders.
🎬 Setting Up Plex
You can access Plex directly through the platform (you’ll find the link in the left-hand menu). During the initial setup, Plex will ask you to specify the paths for your media libraries. Here are some examples based on typical categories:
- Movies:
/data/torrent/movies
- Series:
/data/torrent/series
Ensure you assign the correct paths for each type of content so Plex can index and organize your media properly.
🗂️ Folder Structure for TV Series
To help Plex organize your TV series correctly, it’s essential to use a precise folder structure. Each show should have its own folder, with each season stored in separate subfolders. For example:
/data/torrent/series/Show A/Season 1
/data/torrent/series/Show A/Season 2
/data/torrent/series/Show A/Season 3
By following this structure, Plex will automatically recognize and display your series properly in its interface.
